Jae Joon says the bleeding will stop naturally and Hoon continues to argue back. They finally agree to have a competition and the winner will get to operate on the patient. Turns out, the surgeon in charge of the patient let a resident operate on patient which was both illegal and caused the bleeding and malpractice. The scene shifts to the bodyguard who carries a teddy bear into a patient’s room. The woman turns around and asks if the teddy bear is Hoon. The woman is Hoon’s mother meaning that the bodyguard didn’t kill her.
Jae Joon asks the chairman for permission to operate on the patient. Dr. Han and the chairman argue over whether to operate or not. He finally says whoever operates on the patient loses the competiton. Hoon decides he wants to do the surgery because he would lose a point making him tie with Jae Joon. Agent Cha visits the hospital to tell Hoon not to operate. At the Blue House, Jang and the president meet again and instead of discussing the recent announcement of North Korea deciding to test nuclear weapons, Jang worries about the competition at the hospital. The President then says he picked a hospital that isn’t Myungwoo. The Prime Minister simply smiles.
Hoon disregards Agent Cha’s warning and decides to continue with the surgery. Jae Joon sends Dr. Yang to help Hoon any way he can because he wants to save the patient, but at the same time he doesn’t want to lose. Agent Cha finds out that Hoon is doing the surgery and pushes Hoon and Seung-Hee into a room. He threatens Hoon with Seung Hee’s life and Hoon finally gives in. Jae Joon finds out that Hoon won’t do the surgery and after yelling at Hoon he decides to operate himself. Chairman Oh finds out that Jae Joon is operating. The Chairman and other doctors scream from the room above the surgery room, and Hoon decides to join the surgery. The doctors in the surgical team seem ashamed, but Hoon says that they are real doctors and the ones that should be ashamed are the people watching from above.
